Advocating for better pay.

CNAs should get a better pay because CNAs (Certified Nursing Assistant) are the backbone of patient care. CNAs provide essential physical and emotional direct care to patients. Also, CNAs workload can be very extensive. Even with everything they do CNAs are still one of the lowest health care workers.

                                                             The mission

Being a CNA, I want to raise awareness to potentially shift the healthcare system into increasing the pay of CNAs. With increasing the pay this could be a step towards a stronger, more compassionate healthcare system.

Why CNAs should get a better pay.

CNAs provide essential, hands-on care daily, often working in very demanding conditions. CNAs essentially help patients with things they can no longer do independently. Their work directly impacts patients' well-being and the efficiency of healthcare systems. So, better compensation is not just about their financial security, but also about recognizing the valuable role they play in the healthcare system.

There are many benefits to bettering a CNA pay such as...

Reduced Burnout-Better Compensation allows CNA to work fewer hours, which helps improve work life balance.

Better Patient Care-CNAs who are well compensated they are generally more dedicated leading to higher quality care.

More workers in the work field-Improving a CNAs pay can lead to a better supported workforce which improves the ability to recruit and retain workers.
